Shampoo is a necessity not a luxury! You have to stop considering a part of basic hygiene to be an "extra" step in your routine. Here's our top tips to show the importance shampoo plays in your day to day.

1. Not regularly shampooing can lead to sebum and product build up 

Without a good cleanse your scalp is left suffocated. Not allowing your hair follicles to breathe and regenerate can lead to dandruff and even hair loss. In addition to saving your hairline, you're hair is going to look and feel new. Avoid "3 in 1's" and products with high alcohol content- look for "Paraben + sulfate free" on your bottle.

2. You do not need to shampoo daily!

Every 2-3 days is enough! If you feel the need to get your hair wet to feel "clean" or to re-style, condition only! This not only saves your hair but saves you some cash- shampoo should have a shelf life of 12 months. Think about how many washes you're getting out of that bottle? The investment doesn't seem too bad for healthier scalp and hair!

3. Save time styling 

When you're on a regular shampoo schedule your hair learns how to behave! "Training" your hair when it will be washed, style and direction you're aiming to achieve will make your "get ready routine" way easier! You'll also add more volume with second/ third day hair than with freshly washed hair.
